About the event
We live in a world that rewards women for doing. For managing, producing, showing up, holding it all together. What it rarely rewards—is stopping.
And so we don't stop. We fill the quiet before it can fill us. We move from one thing to the next because stillness, when it finally comes, can feel less like rest and more like a question we're not sure we're ready to answer.
Who are you when you're not doing anything for anyone?
For many women, that question has no easy answer. Not because the self isn't there—but because it's been so long since she had the space to speak. Beneath the performing and the managing and the holding everyone else together, she has been waiting. Patient. Still there.
The stillness doesn't empty you. It returns you to yourself.
Remembering Yourself in the Stillness
In this circle, we will:
Create space to slow down and feel what's actually present beneath the busyness
Explore what gets revealed when we stop performing and start listening inward
Sit together in the tender, sometimes disorienting quiet of genuine stillness
Practice remembering—reclaiming the parts of ourselves that got lost in the doing
You don't have to have it together to be here. In fact, the not-having-it-together is exactly the right place to begin.
About This Circle
"Remembering Herself in the Stillness" is the second gathering in Visible and Whole—a six-circle summer journey through courage, stillness, rising, transformation, tending, and the turning of the season. You are welcome to join us for this circle alone or walk the full summer journey. Every gathering stands beautifully on its own.
Every Women's Flourishing Circle opens with gentle movement — stretching, breath, and simple somatic practice — to help you leave the day at the door and arrive fully in your body and the present moment. From there, the circle opens with intention. Women share honestly, listen deeply, and experience something that most tell us they've never quite felt before.
You will not be forced to share anything you're not ready to share. The space is structured to be safe, honest, and held with over 20 years of professional facilitation experience.
Duration: 2 hours

Why Gather in Circle
Indigenous cultures understood and practiced what science has also proven: that when two or more people come together, we co-regulate, or stabilize one another's emotional and physiological state.
The Women's Flourishing Circle is a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—with yourself and with others. Through gentle conversation, listening and reflection, mindful practices, and supportive presence, we create an environment where your nervous system can settle and restore.
In a calm and welcoming space, we cultivate a sense of safety, belonging, and authentic connection. In circle, you don’t have to hold everything alone—being witnessed, heard, and supported helps our bodies remember how to relax and regulate.
