About the event

You stepped through the door. And on the other side, you found a path.

Not a smooth, straight, clearly marked path. A real one—unfamiliar, chosen, and therefore precious. Young enough to need your attention. Wild enough to ask something of you. It needs your eyes on it, your hands in it, your willingness to show up—especially when the way forward isn't clear.

This is what it means to walk a path that is truly your own.

We are sometimes sold the idea that once we do the brave thing—once we rise, once we step through—the hard part is over. But transformation doesn't end at the threshold. It continues on the path beyond it. And that path requires a different kind of courage than the leap did. Not the dramatic courage of crossing—but the devoted, steady courage of tending.

Tending means showing up when it isn't dramatic. Clearing what has accumulated. Making space for what wants to grow. Returning again and again to what matters, even when—especially when—no one is watching.

The path doesn't tend itself. But the woman who tends it discovers something remarkable: the tending is the becoming.

Tending Your Path

In this circle, we will:

  • Reflect on what has shifted since we stepped through our own threshold — what has opened, what has surprised us, what still feels tender

  • Explore what our path is asking of us right now — what needs clearing, what needs nurturing, what needs our devoted attention

  • Support one another in the quieter, steadier courage of tending — the kind that doesn't always get celebrated but always matters

  • Practice returning — to ourselves, to our path, to what we have chosen

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep showing up for the path you've chosen.

About This Circle

"Tending the Path" is the fifth gathering in Visible and Whole—a six-circle summer journey through courage, stillness, rising, transformation, tending, and the turning of the season. You are welcome to join us for this circle alone or walk the full summer journey. Every gathering stands beautifully on its own.

Every Women's Flourishing Circle opens with gentle movement — stretching, breath, and simple somatic practice — to help you leave the day at the door and arrive fully in your body and the present moment. From there, the circle opens with intention. Women share honestly, listen deeply, and experience something that most tell us they've never quite felt before.

You will not be forced to share anything you're not ready to share. The space is structured to be safe, honest, and held with over 20 years of professional facilitation experience.

Duration: 2 hours

What to Wear: Something comfortable — we begin with movement

What to Have on Hand: A journal if you like to write.

Accessibility Note: There is one flight of stairs to reach the studio.

Come as you are. Leave feeling better equipped, centered, and connected.

All women are welcome. Diversity is celebrated. Love is abundant.

Why Gather in Circle

Indigenous cultures understood and practiced what science has also proven: that when two or more people come together, we co-regulate, or stabilize one another's emotional and physiological state.

The Women's Flourishing Circle is a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—with yourself and with others. Through gentle conversation, listening and reflection, mindful practices, and supportive presence, we create an environment where your nervous system can settle and restore.

In a calm and welcoming space, we cultivate a sense of safety, belonging, and authentic connection. In circle, you don’t have to hold everything alone—being witnessed, heard, and supported helps our bodies remember how to relax and regulate.
